¡Hola!

This is Julian Correcha from Red English and The Spanish Kangaroo. The following is a tip to increase your Spanish vocabulary.

Generally speaking, English words ending in ‘ty’  need only to have the ‘ty’ replaced with ‘dad’, and sometimes ‘tidad’,  to form their Spanish equivalent.

Let’s have a look at some examples:

 creativity  creatividad  curiosity  curiosidad
 dignity  dignidad  diversity  diversidad
 eternity  eternidad  flexibility  flexibilidad
 generosity  generosidad  honesty  honestidad
 humanity
 humanidad  identity  identidad

Good luck trying out many more words like this in your conversations with Spanish speakers!
